Sports and school

Šport in šola

Today's pace of life does not give parents much room for maneuver, so many children spend a large part of the day in school. Among other things, parents dream of their children's success and may put too much pressure on them. To make the most of their time after school, children are enrolled in various sports activities, dance classes, music school and many other activities.⁣

There's nothing wrong with that, of course. Why? Let's look at it from the other side: parents don't actually burden their children with this. Children are made for movement, and among other things, they absorb the knowledge they receive from their surroundings like sponges. They are not burdened with the things that fill adults' heads, so they are eager for knowledge, skills, progress, competitions, and proof.⁣

Many people still wonder how athletes at school can have better results than those who practically spend their afternoons in front of the TV or computer. ⁣

Athletes are often said to have less time to work on schoolwork. This is certainly true. They have less time, but they spend the time they have more efficiently and effectively. Such children learn discipline at an early age. This is extremely important for all things in life. Their day, just like everyone else's day, has 24 hours and nothing more. In these 24 hours, it is necessary to include school, training, learning, meals during the day, and also the free time that every child should have. However, it is true that the free time of an active child is different from someone else's.⁣

Their days are usually planned for the week ahead. So the child knows what their tasks are and what they have to do that week. Children have so much energy that such schedules usually don't cause them any problems. Their workday is full of activities during the day, and the time is allocated in a quality way.⁣
Think about it. Do you learn more in an hour without all the distractions or if you leave your phone on and are constantly bothered by its beeping?⁣

This is exactly what happens with these children. They have schedules set up so that they study at certain times and no one disturbs them at that time. This means that they will be more focused, without distractions, and they will absorb the material faster. This leads to better results in school, and on the other hand, more free time because they understand the material faster. ⁣

So parents. Sports are a great way for your children. Both on their academic paths, as well as in training competencies and virtues for life. ⁣
