The Be Active story began with a love of exercise in nature, learning about a healthy lifestyle, and the importance of preserving nature.

Be Active is a team of young sports enthusiasts who, through their rich experiences, learn about the values ​​of a healthy lifestyle, nature conservation, and outdoor activities, as well as the related development of society, which creates a positive and joyful environment.

Physical activity is a very important way to get there, but the Be Active team is aware that by developing and offering products that enable us to do these activities, we have a significant impact on the environment and society around us.

With this awareness, we develop sustainable tourism models, organize sporting events, and collaborate with manufacturers of sporting products that ensure sustainable and ethical shopping.

The team that builds the BeActive story, together with its partners, is active on numerous successful projects:⁣

The story of UTVV Slovenia and the Tura Sports Association began in 2015 with the first ultra trail competition in Slovenia, 100 UTVV - Ultra Trail Vipava Valley.

After the 3rd edition of 100UTVV in 2017, we, the UTVV organizing team, were ready for the changes that the event urgently needed to become internationally recognizable.

We decided to actively enter the international trail running space and place Slovenia alongside larger ultra trail events by organizing an internationally comparable event in Slovenia.

We caught the train to the Chamonix fair at the last minute and were the first Slovenian ultra trail runner with our own stand under the white Mont Blanc in 2017.

In 2017, we contacted the Spanish brand SportHG and received test samples of their clothing. (Interestingly, the team is still “testing” the 2017 samples and they still perform great after 5 years!)

In 2018, we made significant progress with UTVV, increasing participation to 750 runners from 20 countries. We again attended the UTMB fair in Chamonix and established contacts with foreign partners. We began to actively attend Central European trail events, with which we established partnerships and forged friendships.

In 2018, Alpe Adria Adventurers was founded, together with the travel agency Geko Adventures , which offers outdoor experiences in nature. The company now combines most of our activities under one roof.

In 2019, the UTVV event was taken to a new level, with over 900 participants from 30 countries around the world.

Numerous visits to partner events concluded with the 3rd visit to the UTMB fair in Chamonix. The visit opened up many new opportunities and partnerships. We have started discussions with the English multi-day running series - UltraX, and in the coming months we have agreed and confirmed the organization of the first multi-day running event in Slovenia - UltraX Championship in 2021, with the presence of the world's biggest names in trail running.

In 2020, despite the epidemic, we and our partners founded a new ultra trail event in Kranjska Gora - Julian Alps Trail Run , a new running league Alpe Adria Trail Cup , and the first trail running tourist agency in Slovenia, Alps2Sea .

Despite the fact that the epidemic prevented us from holding 2 large ultra trail events in 2020, we organized numerous virtual challenges and offered a new app for trail running in the Julian Alps and the Vipava Valley .

In 2021, we upgraded our cooperation with the SportHG brand and became the official distributor of clothing in Slovenia and opened the BeActive online store, which offers, among other things, SportHG clothing and promotes a green, sustainable and active lifestyle.
