Take advantage of group training⁣

Izkoristi treninge v skupini⁣
Do you like to train in a group? Do you train alone? We are all different. There is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own needs and goals. We have different characters and that's okay. That's what makes us unique and unrepeatable. ⁣

Training in a group is, except in team sports, a less desirable form of exercise. However, training in a group has quite a few advantages that we may not realize until we start practicing it. ⁣

The most important advantage is motivation. Why? Imagine that it's April, it's rainy and you really don't feel like doing anything for yourself, even though you know that a walk would make you feel great. If you always train alone, there's a good chance that you'll spend the day in bed in front of your computer. But if you have a group of people you train with, there's a very good chance that you'll at least go for a walk for the sake of company, if not do some training in the rain.⁣

This is not the only aspect of motivation that can be highlighted in group training. Sometimes we can organize training as a small competition. We are always competing with each other. Encouraging in a group is an additional impetus for an individual to push their limits. This also encourages positive competition, which is more than welcome in ensuring progress. In a group, you are the greatest friends and at the same time the greatest competitors. Encouraging each other brings better and faster progress.⁣

Those who come from team sports, or have ever been part of them, would certainly agree that the feeling of happiness, euphoria, and joy you experience when your team wins cannot be described in words. When a team breathes as one, success is guaranteed. ⁣
How about a guided workout? Have you ever participated in one? How was it? When you come among a lot of people with the same goal, willingness to work and dedication. Have you ever talked to anyone from the group? A lot of new friendships are made at group workouts in fitness centers or sports events. There you meet people who have the same goals, desires, interests.⁣

It is important to be aware of the fact that the group should have members with similar goals. Why? Imagine that your goal is to run 5km under 30 minutes, while your partners in the group train mainly on strength and their goal is to lift as much weight as possible. That somehow won't work together, don't you think? That way the group won't work homogeneously and soon the workout can become more of a struggle than a joy. ⁣

Don't be afraid. Group training is fun!⁣
